2016 Highlights &...Personal Statement
I’m the varsity goalie for the Carmel Rams and have enjoyed playing field hockey since middle school. I am truly passionate about reaching my goals in and beyond the classroom and denying our opponents their goals on the turf. I am most proud of my recent field hockey accomplishments including 220 saves so far this season (and counting), being named NCSA Athlete of the Week (named 9/30/16), and captain for my senior year. Previously, I was honored to start on varsity as a junior and receiving top honors in the Hudson Valley with NYSPHSAA Award For Section 1 All‐League Goalie. In the classroom, I maintain high honor roll status every semester and was named to the National Honor Society but my biggest accomplishment was leading Carmel High School in its first state championship - being named New York State chapter of the year for 2016 for Future Business Leaders of America.
In college, I plan to study Biology in college with the hope of becoming an orthodontist to see so many happy children smiling back at me!
