Hello Coaches, my first experience in field hockey was in the 7th grade. My teacher in Physical education loved my speed and encouraged me to tryout for the school field hockey team, which she was the varsity head coach . I was somewhat hesitant, as I had played softball since I was five years old and that was the sport I enjoyed most. During my softball offseason, that fall I gave field hockey a try and never looked back. As I grew older I became more serious about field hockey and fell in love with the game. Being a Varsity three sport athlete, playing field hockey, track and softball has given me necessary skills in time management, teamwork and drive to succeed in school and sports.
My goals when I get to college are to be successful in the classroom and on the field. I feel I am a strong asset to any college field hockey program. I am a committed student athlete who always gives 110% on and off the field. My strengths are my speed, control and speed with ball and efficient passing. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me both athletically as well as academically. I believe that I not only have the talent to compete for a college team but the work ethic, commitment and character to make an impact on your program.
