Lily Goodfellow '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lily Goodfellow and I am a forward graduating in 2023.  Before playing field hockey I ran track and cross country. I started playing field hockey my freshman year on the junior varsity team and was pulled up to varsity by the end of the season. I started on varsity during the 2020 and 2021 seasons and my team won the state championship both years.  

My preferred position is forward as I love to help move the ball down the field and create opportunities in the offensive circle. After playing for a club team and my high school, I realize I love the sport and desire to continue my passion.  My goal is to play Field Hockey on the collegiate level.

The coaches and my teammates appreciate my positive attitude, my love of competition, hard work and leadership.  I believe that I stand out on the field due to my tenacity, endurance, and my ability to create opportunities for my team.
