Max Latshaw '22 Recruiting Profile

I have developed a love for distance running over the years.  I have been running cross country and track since I have been in fourth grade.  I was also a distance swimmer that competed at a national level. I am very goal oriented and I love to work hard to achieve my goals.  I had to work through some growth plate injuries as I was growing through my freshman and part of my sophomore year.  These obviously created setbacks, but thankfully my growth plates are closed and I have been able to train at a high level without issue since last October. I was disappointed to not have a track season due to covid 19 as I had trained all winter and was ready to compete. I am currently running better than ever and plan to keep improving.  I have placed in the top 5 in every  invitational that I have run so far this 2020 xc season.  I also take a very vigorous academic load, and have chosen the most advanced classes that my school offers since freshman year. I hope to go to one of my top college choices, and work my way to the top pack on the team.
