For as long as I can remember I have found myself unique in the way I approach life. I've never been one to follow along with a crowd even when it seemed like the choice most would make. My individuality has come to serve me well both on and off the field. On the field I am willing to take risks and push myself beyond my coaches' expectations. I'm a strong leader and embrace the team first mentality. Off the field I set the bar high for my academics and put in the extra time to make sure I am reaching the standards I've set for myself.
I work hard to be a positive example in all aspects of my life. Positive role models have had a big impact on me and I would like to be the same for others. I could play field hockey endlessly but also have found time to volunteer in my community.
I am dedicated and determined in all that I commit to do which would make me an asset to any team. My love of field hockey has me wanting to constantly improve my game and take it to the next level. Playing in college would be the ultimate goal.
