In 6th grade, I started playing field hockey because my friends were playing. By the end of 8th grade, I was playing because I loved how playing made me feel. I enjoyed being a part of a team and working together as a unit to get a goal. Playing field hockey gives me the chance to be more aggressive and play with a group of girls that I know I can count on. Playing field hockey has been a thrill for me, and I would like very much to be able to play in college.
I am a good student and am considering majoring in Biology. I enjoy kids – listening to them, joking with them, encouraging them - and I’m considering studying to be a teacher. People who don't know me would describe me as shy but once you get to know me I open up and am funny and pretty adventurous. I would also consider myself kind and aware of the feelings of others.
I am always working hard and to improve my skills. I listen and respond well to coaching and am very motivated to be the best I can be. I’m excited to continue playing field hockey in college and am looking for a team that is committed to working hard to improve and teamwork.
