My name is Julia Rabadam and I am a junior at Upper Arlington High School near Columbus, Ohio. I have been playing golf since I was six years old. I love the sport and all the opportunities and experiences it has given me, including traveling throughout the country and reaching the 2017 National Finals of Drive, Chip & Putt at Augusta National. My goal is to take my game to the next level by playing collegiate golf. I have been looking at colleges that have a combination of great academics as well as a strong golf program where I can grow as a golfer, a student, and as a person.
Playing golf has taught me so many life lessons, including how to persevere through tough situations, how to control my emotions, and how to stay focused. In addition to golf, I have played lacrosse for seven years. I think that lacrosse has helped me with being a good, supportive teammate, developing my leadership skills, and understanding how my role fits within and molds the team. In my sophomore year, I made the tough decision to step away from club and school lacrosse in an effort to focus my energies on a sport I truly love and would like to pursue in college.
Thank you for taking the time to view my profile and I hope you have a great day!
