My name is Leah Mouganis and I would love to play field hockey in college. Field hockey has become such an important aspect of my life. As a homeschooled student, the sport provided incredible opportunities to make friends and experience high school. I found a lot of passion for the sport, especially during my junior year seasons in both outdoor and indoor club. My favorite experiences come from being on the field, communicating with my teammates. This past season, I especially loved connecting with the underclassman and doing the best I could to help them through their early high school years. One of the reasons I believe I am a great addition to any team is because one of my goals is to encourage my teammates as much as possible and help them in any way I can. I love being being both on the field and part of a team, which are reasons I would love to continue my field hockey career in college. I know that being part of a collegiate team entails strong commitment in hard work, but those are two traits that I have always had and will continue to exercise.
