Hello! My name is Gilyse Rivera and I am a 17-year-old student athlete at East Stroudsburg Senior High School North. I have been playing outdoor field hockey since I was in 7th grade, and indoor field hockey since I was in 8th. I believe I am a good candidate for any team based on my natural born leadership skills, and my ability to communicate well with others. I am currently enrolled in honors and AP courses. I am different from other candidates because I have an ability to mentally push myself to go further, which is difficult for many athletes. I consistently motivate myself and try to excel at all times when playing my sport. I look forward to my future, and the places field hockey will take me!
