My love for field hockey started when i was in 5th grade. My older sister Ashley started playing in 7th grade and I would always attend her games with my parents. I fell in love with the sport from the sidelines. I begun training in 6th grade by attending winter practices that were held by the coach at my middle school. Come 7th grade i was ready to play. My coaches and teammates in 7th grade set me on an amazing path. They gave me tips and tricks, knowledge about the sport and much more. I improved so much from my first year of playing i was choosen as head capitan of my team in 8th grade. Because of my teammates i was able to score 6 goals during my 2017-2018 middle school season. What i think makes be different from other recruits is, I’ve never played for a club team or travel team before. That just gives me more of the urge to strive in the game and make myself stand out since my school team is not noticed as much as others . Ive aspired to play at the collegiate level since i watched my first ever college field hockey game on YouTube. I want to go to college to hopefully study forensics or criminology. I am able to work under pressure in situation and will always make sure my teammates know i got their backs wether its on the sidlines giving words of encouragement or on the field. I will always make sure to try and improve in anyway my coaches need me to and am able to adapt to any position that i am needed on the field . On thing about me is i always have a smile on my face and am always cracking jokes to get my teammates in a good mood for the game.
