My name is Taylor Whitehead. I attend Cumberland Valley High School and in the 2023 graduating class. I first started playing at age 6 because I grew up watching my cousin play and I really got excited about field hockey watching her play at the University of Michigan. In addition to playing for my school I have played club hockey for East Coast Field Hockey and currently for Spooky Nook Field Hockey. I have experience playing all the positions but I primarily played midfield.
I feel my style of play would be a great asset for your program. I am a hard worker and an unselfish player. I enjoy scoring but I also take great pride in passing to my teammates and feel I have a strong knowledge of the game. I pride myself on being a very coachable player which I have learned from my parents who have been involved in coaching at the high school and college level.
