My name is Johannah Lee. I am a midfielder and defender from State College, Pennsylvania. I have been playing sports almost my entire life but did not begin playing field hockey until 8th grade. I spent most of my time before field hockey in competitive gymnastics. Although this is an individual sport when it comes to competition, I believe I learned how to be a good teammate through that sport. I also learned very good time management skills due to the amount of time I dedicated to gymnastics. I implement these skills into my field hockey career every day. The time management skills help me stay on top of work and not fall behind when I miss school. I play in an unselfish manner in order to set up my teammates for a good play.
Once I started playing field hockey, I immediately fell in love. Ever since then, I have committed most of my time to becoming the best player I can be. I am very good at motivating myself to get things done even when I do not want to, because that work will allow me to improve. I am dedicated to and love the sport of field hockey and I am willing to put in the work necessary to compete at the highest level possible.
