My name is Madi Gaul from State College Area High School. I started field hockey in 7th grade, and fell in love with it the day I got my first stick. I have learned so much since I started and have met so many new people and coaches because of it. I have always been a hard worker and when I want something, I try my very best to get it. Before field hockey became such a big part of my life I was also a swimmer and soccer player. Although those sports taught me some very good lessons I eventually realized that field hockey was the best fit for me. Once I had to say goodbye to the sports I once loved, my passion for field hockey became even greater. I now focus on field hockey everyday and always keep the drive there. I also have an overall passion for being fit so I take on weightlifting. While working at a gym definitely helps with that, my dad is one of the biggest helpers towards lifting. He makes me programs, some that are olympic programs and some that are focused on how to make me a stronger, faster, smarter field hockey player. Overall I am a good student, friend, teammate, and more. My outgoing energy and desire to be better would make a great addition to your team!
