Emma Mazur '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a very athletically inclined person who picks up things very fast and I love to play sports. I loving being in the goal because I love the rush and the feeling of saving a shot and being the leading factor that determines the game. I play multiple sports so that I can stay active in different ways throughout the year but I am always practicing all of my sports so that I can become the best I can be. I always learn the different plays for my team whether they involve me or not so that if I catch something that my coach or my teammates don't see I can strategize in the moment and communicate with my team better. I am also fearless and aggressive, when I am in the goal I will come out a lot and fight for the ball, keeping faith that if the ball passes me my defense has me covered. During team drills I practice as aggressively as if its a game and not acting silly and goofing. I take practice very seriously and work my hardest but I also like to have a good time and like to crack jokes a fair amount so that practice is fun too.
