My name is Madison Lawless and I am an opposite/middle hitter who is willing to play wherever someone might need me. I cannot put into word how much I love the game of Volleyball. This love started in the fifth grade during PE class when I was first introduced to the sport. I am a very good student who is taking college prep classes. In the future, I would like to either help young athletes stay in shape and train the right way, or work in the field of cyber crime. Although those are just a few options I am thinking about, I am always willing to try new things. Playing volleyball everyday of the year is what helps me stay on schedule. When I am not playing, I am either training with my personal trainer or going to the gym.
On the court I am a very smart player as I was taught at the very beginning of my Volleyball career to read the court. I am very good at seeing where the other team's weak spot is, and putting the ball there when I can to get the point. Although being a smart player is super important, I can also put the ball away. Being a tall person, I never really had much play time in the defensive positions on the back row, but I have a love for it! I am willing to throw my body on the ground diving for anything. One of my coaches has a quote that I love and it is “know your role, do your job”. That is what I live by and play by.
