Raifah Alam '22 Recruiting Profile

 I have loved the sport of Field Hockey since I was twelve years old and it has always been my dream to play in college. I differentiate myself from my peers with the amount of competitiveness I play with. I constantly give my 110% in every practice, every game, and every training session. I am seen as one of the most aggressive defenders on every single one of my teams. I play with integrity and confidence. Not only do I hold these values to great importance on the field, but I utilize these values off the field. I see each class, not as an opportunity to get a good grade, but to learn something and be able to apply it. Especially in the STEM-related fields, the more challenging the classes, the more engaged I find myself. Science and Math are my passions along with field hockey.  Just finding the derivative, or seeing how I can apply DNA base-pairs to replace binary code intrigues me and drives me to become a better student. I truly believe that knowledge is power, and should be shared for the greater good. Please seriously consider me as a possible player on your 2022 roster. I am a natural leader and will serve as an asset to your team.
