I want to be recruited to play field hockey in college because I not only have a passion for playing this sport, but for this position, goalie. Being on the high school varsity team for 3 years now, and for the 6 years I have been playing, I have grown to have a special place in my heart for field hockey. This sport has given me so much; from mental health stability, to new friends that became family. Personally, I cannot imagine, not, playing field hockey after high school. The support of a team that feels like family while transitioning into college is a big factor to why I want to play in college. Knowing the college level is more competitive, I am ready to work extremely hard to achieve my goals, as I am able to push myself to where my challenging work pays off. I love making new friends, being part of a team that feels like family, and working on my skills and physical wellbeing all at the same time. Some of my proudest accomplishments are making second-team all-region sophomore year, first-team all-region junior year, and being the MVP on varsity 3 years in a row; since freshman year. Additionally, this past season, I had 136 saves out of 16 games, had a 90.6% save average, and 8 shutout games.
