Elizabeth James '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Elizabeth James. I am a goalie in the class of 2020. I play for my high school, Foxcroft School in Middleburg Virginia, as well as Metro HC. This is my third year playing, as well as my third year on varsity and playing club. I have had to take some time off due to health issues, as well as recovering from two surgeries. The surgeries were treatment for hydrocephalus, a condition I developed freshman year. Even with my time out of school, I have continuously managed above a 4.0 gpa. My time dealing with health problems has helped me learn to fight for what I want, and always do my best. I translate this to goaling by working to never give up the ball, go for every stop, and always talk to my teammates. As a goalie I’m always excited for a chance to get better and learn from the people around me!
