Shaun (Dylan) Searcy '11 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Shaun "Dylan" Searcy and I believe I would be a positive addition to your football team. I am 6"2" and weigh 190. I was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 13 which could have undermined some athletes but due to determination and an uncompromising work ethic I matured at an early age and learned to be responsible and accountable. This transended into my athletic career. I am the first to arrive at workouts and one of the last to leave. Our summer work out sessions end in running drills, when we are finished, I continue to run. I push myself and my team mates to be the best that we can be on and off the field. I have strong Christian convictions that help me to make moral and ethical decisions in life on and off the field. I will work and play harder than anyone else on the field. I have a determination to succeed no matter where I go or what I do. I have served as captain for my football team. I have been All County and in the top 10 for Baldwin County 5A and 6A in quarterback sacks, total tackles, solo tackles, fumble recoveries, and blocked punts. I am a member of the National Honor Society and ranked 9th out of 186 at my high school.
