Braden Northcutt '23 Recruiting Profile

My love of football and my work ethic have paid off. As a freshman, I have been fortunate to start at Center on the JV team. I have also been noticed as being a leader by my coaches and was named as a captain over several games this season. I was chosen over juniors, sophomores and other freshman. When looking at my character traits, I think that my work ethic and devotion are my greatest traits. These both led me to success on the field, in the weight room and in the classroom. In the weight room, I am seeing an increase in my lifting and my strength is growing. In the classroom, I am earning a 4.0 GPA in mostly advanced classes. 

I think Lou Holtz says it best, "Your TALENT determines what you can do. Your MOTIVATION determines how much you are willing to do. Your ATTITUDE determines how well you will do it". Talent and motivation will get you far, but to be the best you have to have the attitude. The attitude that you are the best and that you will do everything to be successful.
