Hi my name is Jonathan and I would like to go to college to study History and fire fighting. I would like to be a firefighter or high school history teacher. I think I would be a good candidate for your school because I am very responsible, a hard worker who gives 110%, a good team player with a high level of integrity. Throughout my high school years I have been involved in many sports and clubs. I have played football three years and been on varsity all 3 and lettered and received my pins. I was selected all conference first string for both the offensive and the defensive line and was selected to the north vs. south senior all star game. I have also been involved with baseball and was the team captain 3 years as well as lettering and receiving my pins. Track and wrestling were two other sports I have been involved with. During my high school years I spent 4 years in the JROTC program achieving two national awards and attained rank as a captain. I have participated in band and pep band for 4 years and lettered and won state superior awards. I am and have been involved with many community service projects for the last 5 years and have logged many volunteer hours. As a senior from a single parent home I have carried on my own job during the summer and after school. all the above was accomplished while maintaining a 3.8 GPA. For the above reasons i feel like I am an all around balanced student athlete who would love to continue playing football and baseball in college as a means to help me through school. I am confident I would be a good asset to your team.
