Tesema Veurink '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello!!

My name is Tesema Veurink and I am 17 years old. I aim to be your next recruit as a running-back or as a wide receiver.  Currently, I attend Medicine Hat High School and I am playing Senior Varsity. My sights are set on to play at the next level while I pursue Business as well as Trades academically. 

From a young age, I've always loved to sports, whether that be being involved with school activities such as Soccer, Basketball, Track and Field, or Volleyball, I have always stayed engaged. Nonetheless,  when I first stepped on to the football field in grade 8, I knew this was what I was going to love playing the most. 

Throughout my career as a young player, I've enjoyed having the opportunity to play Team Alberta, various camps in Calgary, as well as camps with my own team. 

I would like to describe myself as a hard working player and individual. Throughout the Covid 19 Pandemic, I have had the ability and access to a at-home gym where I was able to stay focused on my training through different programs my coaches has given each one the players. 

I will always look to improve myself on the field and in school  as well as helping my team achieve their goals.
