Jordan Calligan '25 Recruiting Profile

Since a young age I grew up with no dad in my life, I always wanted to prove something to myself and it was that I don’t need a dad to live the same life anyone else does, I know that I can make a change and I am willing to do everything in my power to make sure of it, college wasn’t my first idea in life but knowing what I know now, I think college would be a great opportunity for my life. 

In regards of football, I have loved the sport since the 5th grade and all it took was one catch in elementary school for me to realize that playing a sport isn’t about winning or losing, it’s about your team, any time I have messed up in a football game the first things my teammates do is tell me “forget about it, you have next play” and the last thing they did was get mad at me, that’s what playing sports is about is helping each other back up from the ground no matter what, it is 100% the greatest environment when you have teammates who understand that it’s okay to lose every once in a while.
