Evan Barnes '19 Recruiting Profile

My ultimate goal is to get the best education I can get, and if sports is in addition to that goal, it would be great. I am a hard worker, a leader, and I love to set examples for my peers. Something that sets me apart from the rest is my dedication and work ethic. Everyday after school I bring ladders and cones to work on footwork. This sometimes means working by myself in the Arizona heat, but the satisfaction of becoming better is all I need to drive myself forward. I have been playing football since I was 8, and I fell in love with the game. There has not been 1 year that I have not played football since I have started, and I do not plan on that stopping. Apart from sports, my goal is to strive in the classroom as well. I am very competitive, and that does carry over into my education and desire to be better than my competition. I also run track in the offseason as I believe it is a great catalyst to better my technique and become faster. All in all, I love work. My goal is to rise with my peers and be a leader, and I believe that my dedication is important to any program.
