Joseph "JOEY" Counts '12 Recruiting Profile

I am 5'9", weigh 207 pounds, and am a three year Varsity starter for Desert Ridge High School in Mesa, Arizona.  I was named 5AI All-Region RB, 5AI All-State RB, and was also named to the AzFCA 2010 All State Top 25 Team.  I have played football since I was eight, and have always envisioned myself playing at the collegiate level.  I maintain a 3.8 grade point average.  I would like to play football for a university that provides the opportunity to obtain a quality education while further developing my athletic abilities.  I am a very dedicated student athlete with an exemplary work ethic who enjoys competition and leads by example.  I am a team player who encourages teammates to improve and excel athletically and academically.  I challenge and strive to improve myself personally, academically, and athletically on a daily basis.  I believe that I am a determined and driven student athlete that would be a strong and positive addition to a collegiate football program.
