Derrick Maultsby, Jr. '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 17 year old Senior at Chaparral High School in Scottsdale Arizona. I am 305 lbs and 6'3" tall. I completed my fastest 40 at 5.9. I have 7 years of football experience.I recieved the Leadership Award in the 2011 National Underclassmen Combine and attended the Junior Rank Invitational in Arizona the same year. I was team Captain my JV Sophomore year and a Line leader in Varsity. I work from sun up to sun down on football and my studies. My dream for years is to play at the college level and bring my competitive and leadersip skills to a strong University. I have spent the last 2 years of High School volunteering and mentoring children within my community and know that experience has made me a well rounded human being. I am open to any school looking for a dedciated player on and off the field. I am open to all regions and looking for a school to grow my academic and playing abilities. My goal is to play at the highest competitive level while pursuing my academic desire to be successful in obtaining a fullfilling degree with career opportunities.
