Matt Foley '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'1", 170 pound kicker/punter. I have been a starter on the Desert Mountain High School Varsity team since my sophomore year. As a sopomore I kicked 6 field goals. As a junior I finished with 6 field goals and 58 punts, 17 being inside the 20. I recieved all-region, all-city, and all-state honorable mention recogntion as a junior. On a national level at the Chris Sailer Kicking Competition I finished 5th overall in field goals and 21st overall in kickoffs. My national ranking has ranged anywhere from 11th to 21st at times. In school I have maintained a 3.9 GPA and I scored 1700 on the SAT. I am interested in finding a college where I can devote time to academics, in addition to on the field work. I am planning to pursure an engineering or medical degree. My performance on and off the field and on a national level show I have great potential to perform at the DI to DII levels. My goals are to have a large impact starting freshman year and to do well in school.
