Jordan Somerville '14 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Jordan Somerville!  I am entering my senior year as an honor roll student and lettering athlete at Corona del Sol High School in Chandler, AZ.  I have actively participated in competitive tackle Football for nine years, and Track and Field for the last three years.  I am 5'11', weigh 230 lbs., I run a 4.81 shuttle, a 5.4 forty-yard dash, and I train in the off-season with one of my former coaches, Chuck Levy.  I won the "Offensive Lineman of the Year" award as a sophomore on the Junior Varsity team, and upon proving my athleticism and dedication was promoted to playing varsity at the end of my Sophomore year.  As a Varsity player I demonstrate leadership by encouraging my teammates to strive to be their best on the field and in the classroom.  I model this behavior both during the season and while training off-season as well.  Upon entering college I will major in Sports Science to earn a degree that will enable me to become a Sports Trainer/Doctor.  This degree will allow me to remain an integral part of any athletic program when my college football eligibility is successfully completed.  I am a team-player who is fundamentally sound and knowledgeable about the game of football.  I am open to participating in any division of college football at universities that offer solid Sports Science programs.  I hope you enjoy some of my high school highlights, and I look forward to hearing from you!
