My name is Deontrey Cornice, I was born and from Little Rock Arkansas raised by my mother Darneshia Cornice, my father wasn't around when I was younger, so I basically grew up without my father. I started playing football when was around 9 or 10 years old, football wasn't my thing at first but I started to get the hang of it and started to love it. In high school I played for Bryant and McClellan High School, I played with Bryant when I was in the 9th grade and McClellan in the 10th, I had some good times playing for those schools, I played wide receiver, defensive back, special team and a little bit of runner back, playing football brought motivation and happiness even when it was hard work to earn the spot you want to have and I miss every moment of it. Truth be told, I had left playing football and drop out of school when I left McClellan to go to Hall High, the reason why that being is because I had a a-lot family problems and my mother wasn't in a good condition of health and couldn't, so as the oldest child I wanted to help pay the bills and also take care of my family. So a few months later, I started thinking about school in wanted to go back after my mom was feeling better, it was hard process of getting back to school, so I kept working, working two jobs to help my mother around the house, but I wanted to get to school and back to football, I was missing the passion and love I had for it. So now, In 2019, I will be started in school to get my high school diploma and to have a chance of going to college, hopefully to play football again, that my goal just to play football once more.
I'm a good teammate and hard working person, I will work hard for me to play on the field and be in the position I wanna be, and I don't quit when things get rough with players and coaches I do what I'm supposed to as player and teammate. I might be the same as other recruits that coaches want but I can show and prove I can do it.
