Jaylen-Roderick Smith '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jaylen Smith and I am a football player. My goals are to do everything I can to make it to the college level and maybe even the pros. I am a hard working player that will do anything to become a starter and stay there.

In the beginning of my freshman season I moved from a whole other state sitting at 3rd string cornerback for the majority of the season. I worked extremely hard to get the starting spot that I had wanted all year and eventually I did. The starting corner wasn’t doing good in a game and the coach put me in the game. I showed out and had 2 tackles, a pass deflection and 0 completions leading me to start for the rest of the season.
