“Work hard, try your best, and love God above all else.” These are the core values that my father has given to me and my siblings. These are the values that guide the course of my life I work hard every day at whatever I’m doing because I want to do a great job. I care about getting it right whether it be academics, in volleyball, or just being a kind human being every day.
My strengths include leadership skills. My leadership style is quiet. I like to encourage and motivate others in a positive quiet way. I don’t need to stand out, but I believe in making a positive impact in the lives of others. I actively volunteer in my community, and my long term goals include going into veterinary medicine.
I want to compete at an elite level in volleyball in college. I started volleyball relatively late compared to my peers (in 8th grade). I have worked very hard to develop my skill set quickly. (The second year I played club I made the National team.) I am continuing to dedicate myself and train hard because I believe I can be an elite athlete. I make it a goal to be a great teammate and to be a strong and positive presence in any program that I am a part of on and off the court.
