Giovanni Vargas '23 Recruiting Profile

I hope to play at the next level continue to my athletic career for the love of the game. 

Even with a relatively late start to my athletic career, I quickly adapted to the complete change of my environment around me. Putting the pads on for the first time in 7th grade was a struggle for an undersized 12 year old me, but I still went out to practice everyday with my chin up high. 

To only begin to take football seriously after my freshman year, I feel there is still a great room for improvement on my skills and abilities. I continue to hit the weight room and do drills in my own time in order to sharpen the skill set that I have now. However, I hope with the opportunity to play at the next level and continue my athletic career, that the raw athleticism that I have will be coached and molded to fully maximize what I have to offer.
