My earliest memories are playing football in the front yard with my dad. Ever since I was a ball boy for our local high school team, I have dreamt of playing football at the collegiate level. Ultimately, I would like to earn a degree in communications to become a sports analyst or sports broadcaster. I am always working on my skills and better myself as an athlete. My strongest assets are that I am hard working, self-motivated and coachable. I strive to be one of the hardest workers on the team. I am confident in my abilities at quarterback and the ability to lead a team. Going into my junior year I sustained an injury that was a physical setback which did not allow me ideal play time but it has only made me stronger mentally and more determined physically.
In the classroom, I study and work diligently to maintain my high GPA. Also, I believe in giving back to my community. Daily, I participate with a group called Best Buddies where I work, play with and help the special needs students on our campus. I also am an active member in our student government and CSF (California Scholastic Federation).
My goal is to attend a college where I can continue to excel in the classroom and on the football field. I am open to all options to ultimately find the right match at the highest level of competition. I hope to continue to be a role model and better myself as a student athlete.
