Wyatt Valena '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Wyatt Valena, and I am a Senior at Modoc High School in Alturas, California.  I was born and raised in Alturas, which is a very small town.  My family lives on a farm and I have been brought up working very hard for everything I have gotten.  I am currently 5' 11" and 192 pounds, and still growing!  I have started all 4 years of high school football as quarterback.  Two years as JV and two years on varsity.  My team mates as well as classmates look up to me, as I am a natural leader.  I have proven making the right choices on and off the field as well as in my education.  I have been team captain for all 4 years.  I take mostly honors classes and currently have a GPA of 3.73.  I would like to play college football in the highest competition level possible, preferably somewhere on the West Coast, but would be open to and consider any offers.  I have proven ability with being named unanimously the All League QB and Offensive MVP, as well as Coaches Awards.  I would eventually like to go into some type of sports medicine, so my major would be Biology.  I am a class leader and have accepted the position of Sr Class President for the school year 2011/12.  My priorities have always been family, my eduation and my athletics as number one.  I participated competitively in three sports per year for three years now, Football, Wrestling and Baseball.  I received the Coaches Award for wrestling season 2010-2011, and all this and still maintaining a high GPA.  I am currently #4 in my class.  I beleive I would qualify for financial aid, which would help me to fulfill my dreams of a higher education and playing college level football.  Please take the time to read over my profile!  I will not let anyone down!  I am the all around whole package, great leader, great student, great athlete!!  I look forward to talking with you.

OUR TEAM JUST WON LEAGUE AND NOW THE DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP!!  THIS IS THE FORTH YEAR IN A ROW, WITH ME AS QB, THAT WE HAVE WON LEAGUE!  

I've just been named to the All Northern Section Team and am a candidate for the All State Team.
