Ronen Zamorano '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ronen Zamorano, c/o 2026 at Sierra Canyon High School in Los Angeles, CA. I am an athletic, pre-med hopeful, with keen football intelligence and grit. I'm a 2 way player; middle linebacker where I excel in reading the offense but equally strong at tight end where I bulldoze through the defense, often outpace and outreach my defender.  I've been playing tackle football since the 5th grade, as well as basketball, rugby and baseball. I was honored to serve as captain of my freshman squad (120 players) and was the starting middle linebacker on varsity my sophomore season at Loyola High School. I'm a mid year transfer to Sierra Canyon High School and am currently training for the 2024-2025 season. My best qualities are my self-motivation and determination to excel. I understand what it means to lead by example and the importance of putting in work to elevate our potential as a team. I am passionate about my journey in football over the next 3 years in high school and improving as a player so that I can continue at the college level. I have been a consistent honor roll student throughout middle school and my goal is to maintain a strong academic record in high school.  I currently maintain a 4.4 GPA. I have shadowed my father in his family medicine outpatient clinic, where he serves mostly low-income patients, for as long as I can remember.  This experience has ingrained in me the importance of service and health and I hope one day to contribute as greatly as my parents do to our community.  I am hopeful that my love for football may serve as a means to pursue higher education while also allowing me to do what I do best as a passionate player for as long as I can.  I believe my Hudl highlights will give you an idea of my potential as a collegiate football player.
