Jack Hufford '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, my name is Jack Hufford. I am a 6'1" 4.5 star Long Snapper with snap times clocking in  at .77 seconds at 14 yards and ~ .3 seconds at seven yards. Along with Long snapper I play TE and DE. I currently attend Pleasant Valley High School (PVHS) in Chico, CA. I am currently paving my way to a bi-literacy seal in Spanish; thus becoming the first in my family to be bilingual. This sport has become more of a way of life rather than a game. By completing this season I will now have played ten full seasons earning a game ball for Player of the Game in last year's section championship game. Although I have gone through many different positions in this sport my love for the game stayed true, without ever flickering once. My goals as an athlete is to play at the highest level possible and to later serve in the armed forces. 

Some of my best personal traits are as follows: I am a naturally born leader. I have no problem stepping up and leading whether it is needed or not. I am very dedicated to what I do, for example I have been in my high school's band for four years and played football for ten. I am also very active in my community I help at events with the VFW and other local organizations. I run a 5.18 40 yard dash as of June of 2023 and have a 7'7.5" Broad Jump. I squat 405 pounds and currently have a 225 pound bench press as well as an 8.65 Three Cone Drill time. My vertical measures at 19 inches as of March of 2023 and have gone to three camp by Rubio Long Snapping ranking in at 4.5 

stars. I have always been an athlete competing in Brazilian Jui-Jitsu for six years and wrestling and boxing for one. I also hold a solid score of 23 of 36 on my ACT and plan on taking an SAT soon.
