I have been playing football since I was 3 years old and I started playing in clubs at the age of four. Since I was little I have had a special connection and love for ball. I was born and raised in Mexico & started playing with clubs there, until my parents decided to move to the United States in my freshman year of high school, and have been playing in my high school since then. I am a very energetic, aggressive, intelligent and most importantly passionate player. I am a natural leader on and off the field, and I try to lead my teammates not just by yelling at them, but also by encouraging with my example.
Coming to the US At the age of 14 was a real adventure, as I had zero knowledge about the process from high school to university, but I am still trying to learn everyday. Playing on a good university that helps me fulfill my dream while getting an education is now one of my goals and something that I am striving for.
As a player I am someone who listens and is ready to learn. I am always the hardest working player on the team and I show it inside and outside the pitch. As a student I also do my best to maintain my GPA which is currently 4.2. I have taken AP classes, and since freshman year I have had A’s in all of my classes.
I am looking for an institution where I can develop both as an athlete and as a student and I am definitely open to different types of schools. My ideal athletic environment would be one where I can make the difference in a team and we work together pushing each other in order to accomplish amazing things. As an athlete I just want to keep playing with a school that allows me to grow and continue my upward trajectory as a player.
