Being asked by my coaches to be a Team Captain leading into my Junior Year has been a highlight of my high school career. I served on the Offensive Line my sophomore year and learned a tremendous amount from our Senior leadership, many of whom went on to play college ball. That experience laid a foundation for me as a leader heading into the off-season where I played high school basketball and conditioned aggressively in the weight room. My efforts in the off-season resulted in me being selected 1st Team All-League during my junior year, an honor that I was not expecting to receive.
For me, it has always been academics first. Now in my Junior year, I am building upon a 4.3 GPA having taken multiple Honors and AP courses my first two years of high school. I intend to pursue an accounting degree in college and afterwards work for the family Forensic Accounting business. The dedication I demonstrate in academics is the same dedication I bring to the football field. During the off-season of my Junior Year, I have foregone playing high school basketball to dedicate significant time to perfecting my craft in football. I hope to lead my high school team to a league championship my Senior year.
