Johan Zetterberg '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Johan Zetterberg and I am the starting kicker/punter for San Ramon Valley High School in Danville, CA. As a member of the class of 2017, I have started looking for colleges that I could attend with the goal to find the right school for me. I have been playing football for 2 years, I started last year playing with the Junior Varsity team as a kicker and linebacker (2014). My goal is to play college football at a strong academic school. I know how important my academic success is to my college career and for my life beyond college. I’m committed to be the best student I can be so academics has the highest priority for me to prepare for a successful admission to college. I continually am working to improve my kicking skills and capabilities. Beside practicing with the high school team, I'm also working on my both my strength and flexibility with fitness trainers as well as actively participating at multiple Chris Sailer kicking camps to improve my form/technic and to compete with my peers. I am a mentally strong athlete who is striving for the opportunity to play at the next level and develop both as a person and as an athlete. It’s my hope that I will be considered as a viable candidate for the Kicker/Punter position at an academically strong school with the ability to be a member of great football program.
