Competitive swimming has been an important facet of my life and has influenced me in various ways. After first garnering interest in the sport from a young age, it has been my passion and I plan on continuing to compete at the collegiate level. I've learned that dedication, self-discipline, and attention to detail is critical to not only becoming a better athlete, but also as a student, as they are attributes that can be applied to daily life. Achieving my first Futures championship cut this summer was a notable accomplishment. However, barely getting my Winter Junior Nationals cut allowed me to use the experience of failure to motivate me and reach towards my goals.
I am interested in a school that will nurture both my academic interests and helps me achieve my goals as an athlete as well. I firmly believe that I have the talent,skill-set, and work-ethic to immediately impact your program and stand out as an individual, while also helping those around me reach their full potential.
