Jacob Burnett '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacob Burnett and I have been playing golf for over 10 years 8 of those years being competitively and 2 of those years on varsity teams for my high school. I am a hardworking, independent and charismatic person who wants to excel at everything I do, and I have never been known to give up, I am not on of those people to stop trying no matter how bad the situation it is. I am also a guy who plays well with others, I work very well within a team and making sure we all support each other no matter what, and I also like to push my teammates to be the very best they can be. In mind if if one of my teammates fail we all fail. One thing that is unique about me is all the places I have lived in my life I was born in Colorado usually playing in cold weather at high altitude, and occasionally with some snow, I then moved to Oregon and played on the varsity golf team for my high school and I played in rain and windy conditions, and I have recently moved to California, so I have also played in nice sunny weather but also windy.  I think this gives me an advantage on the other contenders because I have played in so many different conditions that I can play no matter what is thrown in front of me, and that's on top of the other advantages of being hardworking having a never quit mentality.  The never quit mentality gives me an advantage over others because no matter how bad the round is going im never going to give up. One of my disadvantages is wanting to be the best at what I do it will drive me to over work myself. And to anyone reading this I think I would make a great addition to you're golf team!
