Jack Hoal '18 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Jack Hoal and here are highlights that I'd like to share with you about myself:

• 4th year starting Varsity player at D1 San Joaquin Section at Davis Sr. High, c/o '18. (First one in my school's history to start Varsity all four years).I'm a very versatile player. On defense, depending on the opponent, I play S/S, CB, F/S. Offensively I play WR.
• Set school record my senior year: 137 tackles  3 INT's, 4 FF's, 6 PD's and 1 FR.

• Received D1 All League as both a Senior this year 2017 and as a Junior in 2016.
• I was named "Top 20 Sophomores To Watch" Northern California and San Joaquin Section All Underclass Team 2015
  
• I was recruited to play two years on KT Prep Elite, a nationally ranked (Top 20) 7 on 7 team.
• I run track and was invited to the Stanford Invitational twice based on my scores. (22' 10" long jump)
• Selected to participate in the 2018 60th annual Annual Optimist All Star Football Game.
• I’m D1 academically eligible. My GPA is 2.73 cumulative/2.47core and I have a 900 SAT score.

My head coach, John Wiley, describes me in his letter of recommendation for me as follows: 

"Jack stood out as a leader both on and off the gridiron. He was name to the Detla All-Conference football team both his junior and senior year. He also volunteered his time at the local Davis Community Meals shelter assisting with food preparation, cooking, serving and clean up. In short, Jack has earned a reputation as a hard-working, trustworthy individual who strives to excel. He responds with courage when challenged to produce his best." 

My goals for the future are to get the opportunity to get a scholarship that will allow me to play football and have the best chance for a good education. I would like to end up at a college that will set me up for a career for the rest of my life after football.
