CJ Herring '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is CJ Herring, I am a 5'11 205 lb RB. As a freshmen, I was moved up to varsity, played as a sophomore and earned a starting spot during my Junior year. Taking the time to put in my max effort every single day was truly an amazing experience. It has helped set high goals for myself and taught me the true meaning of giving my all. This year, with a new coaching staff, I had to prove my abilities and talents to earn the starting spot over the Seniors. Week 5 was my first official start of my Junior season, I rushed for 200 yards on 16 carries, setting 2 school records, and continued that momentum for the next 5 weeks to become the Sierra Foothill League leading rusher. I pride myself on the year round hard work and commitment that I put in, on and off the field.  I play every down like it's my last and I put 100% heart into everything that I do. I will bring a fighting spirit and a winning mentality to your school.
