Personal Statement

I am currently a Senior at Nevada Union HS. I have a passion for sports and have played competitive sports since I was 4 years old. I have competed in baseball, track and field, basketball, volley ball and football. I lead the JV state record in shot put. I had the privilege of playing varsity football as a sophmore and was awarded 2nd team all league line backer. Junior year, I again had the privilege of starting on both offense and defense. Our season was delayed until spring of ‘21 and we only played two games but it was great to be on the field again and I was awarded All Conference All purpose. I also played a 5 game season with a Sacramento based all star team in the Winners Circle league.  I have also been awarded MVP along with several other achievements in football for several years.  I played tackle football for the Junior Miners for 4 years and have played a variety of positions including; QB, FS, TE, DE, LB, Center, Long Snapper, Punter, FG Kicker and FB. My favorite positions to play are LB, DE, FS, QB and Receiver. However, as long as I am on the field, I am happy.  Two summers ago I attended a US National regional camp and was then invited to the Texas US National tryout/camp.  This summer, I attended the Sacramento State Camp, UC Davis Camp and the Ryzer Combine. Despite the difficulties surrounding the pandemic, I have continued with daily strength training and conditioning, increasing my size, strength, speed and agility. I love football and work very hard to improve my skills. I am also an excellent student and my academics are very important to me. My goal is to play college football while achieving my academic goals.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
