My personal goal is to get into a college fit for my field of preference by playing football and thrive into my future despite all the difficulties, stresses and obstacles in my current time. I work hard and I stay dedicated to reach my goals in everything I do and set my mind to. Throughout difficulties, such as my primary caretaker (mother) losing her only source of income, taking care of my younger sibling, dealing with my father's sorrow as his wife is being blocked from reaching us by the immigration services and keeping my own mental health. I have simultaneously excelled into honors classes and maintained all A's in my classes at CVHS. So far I've made the varsity football team at Crescenta Valley High School as a sophomore and won a league title as well as a CIF title, contributing 76 points, all the while playing for my varsity soccer team as well. I'm the youngest on the team therefore I play with older and bigger athletes. This gives me more time to improve on personal skill and mentality. Despite my many stresses and other accomplishments, I have strived to develop my own environmental club at my school where we recycle to donate to homelessness. I am also getting experience in the real world, working at a Taco shop in Los Feliz. I love to spend time practicing with friends and playing around with a ball. I enjoy focusing on my own mental health and enabling every aspect in my life to success step by step as well as problem solving, my most enjoyed subject being mathematics. Currently, I am taking my third year of Spanish in summer school and I have a part-time job at a taco shop downtown, while searching for the campus I can call home for four years.
