Jacob Frey '23 Recruiting Profile

I’ve grown up in a football family, and have been interested and excited to play since I was very young.   My Dad played and coached most of his life and my Mom has always loved football even before she met Dad.  I started playing at 6 years old and have played every year since.  I started in high school this year and was Defensive MVP for my freshman team, and look forward to 3 more years to learn, develop, and contribute. 

I have been on honor roll since I was in Elementary School and enjoy academics almost as much as football.  I have learned that commitment, sacrifice and leadership are all important for both academics and athletics.  I’m looking for a program that fits my athletic and academic goals to help me become the best I can be on and off the field.  Based on my first year, I feel that I have the size, strength, speed, and ability to compete in college, and know that I have the leadership skills to be on your team!
