There are a couple things I would have to say that make me stand out from other student athletes. My character and strong morals that I live by are just two of the most important qualities. My morals can be explained first by this scenario: if there is someone in need and you can help them, then do it, no question! The second is truly “one should never judge a book by its cover“ so don’t judge or underestimate a friend or an opponent. These may not be original but they are important and stick to them. Now regarding character, I don’t care how tempting something is I will always stay true to myself and what my parents have taught me. Every Sunday I go to a charity event that helps poor family’s in need. I’m there to teach their little kids about respect and learning team skills like playing basketball. That is me outside of athletics, but the thing I pride myself on the most when it comes to athletics is my work ethic. No matter what my friends are doing if it cuts into my training I would go to the training 10 times out of 10. (Freshman Year Football Team MVP)
