My name is Max Nulick and I'm from Fresno California. I'm in my Senior year of high school at Liberty High School (2023) in Madera California. Although I play multiple Varsity sports I am a football player at heart and will be playing collegiate football after high school.
I played on our undefeated junior varsity football team as a freshman a couple years ago but was moved up to our varsity team for playoffs. I've been a starter on our Varsity football team since my sophomore year.
I began playing football around six years old and have never stopped. I currently mostly play DE/OLB and TE but will play FB and WR when my team needs me to. I'm a football player first and secondly an athlete that's ready to play whatever position I best help the team. Our team had a great 2021 season and ended up losing in the Valley Championship Game. At the end of my Junior season I led the league and division in tackles for a loss and was second in the league for sacks.
Both of my parents played sports in college and I come from a very competitive and athletic family. I also have two sisters who both play high level travel softball. I come from a good family and have been blessed with positive role models. I love football and play with intensity. I'm a very physical player that works really hard in the weight room and in the class room.
In 2021 I was awarded the All NSL 1st team award for playing Tight End and All NSL 2nd team award for Defensive End. Our team went to the valley championship game and finished 2nd in sectionals.
In 2022 I was selected All NSC 1st Team award for offense (TE) and All NSC 1st Team award for defense (DE/OLB). I was also awarded the Inspirational Player Award. Our team finished as undefeated league champions. In 2023 I was selected to play on the US Army All Star Football Team as well as the City All Star team in the City County All Star Game.
I'm looking for a high quality education and a football program that has a fun and healthy culture. I'm very interested in a program that allows me to make lifelong friends with high character people. As much as I love playing football, my first priority is getting a solid education for my eventual career.
Military family and "Yellow Ribbon Program" eligible. I plan to serve my country and be fourth generation US veteran from my family.
Thank you!
