Josh Tanksley '26 Recruiting Profile

I come from a family that has mainly gone into pest control and software engineering. They've all played soccer but at a high school level only, I want to be the first to go collegiate for a sport in my family. The sport I am in love with is football. I really want to go big and go to very competitive schools. I am willing to do anything to get there and go beyond college. I've always wanted to do sports so I've been working on my athletic capabilities since I was in 7th grade, and having made extreme progress with myself. I always have high standards for myself whether that be in football or school; I try to always have a GPA of over 3.5. And for football, I'm always working to make myself better even when I'm on break, whether that be actual physical activity or just studying football and my plays.
