Hello Coaches
My name is Royce Knoch and I will be graduating in June. I am a bit late reaching out as I did not play in the 2020 season due to COVID. I chose to transfer from my rural hometown where I had attended school my entire life with a class of 35 students (Division 6) to a much larger urban school (Division 2) to push my abilities. Well my teammates voted me MVP at the end of the 2021 season. Not bad for a newbie.
I think if you take a moment to watch my video you would see the talent I could bring to any team.
In 2020 when many sports were shut down, I decided to do something new, so I started to high school rodeo where I team roped, calf roped and steer wrestled. I believe steer wrestling gave me some new skills which have benefited me on the field. When you have the ability to jump off a running horse and throw a running 800 lb steer to the ground in under 5 seconds you aren’t too fearful of what you may see on the field.
